Interesting
Humphrey Bogart
American actor, born in New York, and one of great myths of the cinema by its interpretation of “hard types” and gangsters. One began in the New York theater scene.

He achieved his first cinematographic success in the petrified forest (1936), of archie Mayer, interpreting to the gangster Duke Mantee, paper that two years before had done in Broadway. Other films of the decade of 1930 were River arrives (1930, John Ford), Bullets or votes (1936, William Keighley), next to Edward G. Robinson, San Quintín (1937), of Lloyd Bacon and Ángeles with dirty faces (1938), of M. Curtiz. Bogart would appear in more than fifty films, between which they emphasize, aside from already mentioned, the hawk maltés (1941), of John Huston, Casablanca (1942), of M. Curtiz, To have and not to have (1944), the eternal dream (1946) of Howard Hawks, the treasure of Mountain range Mother (1948), Long Key (1948), both of John Huston, desperate Hours (1955), of William Wyler, and the riot of the Caine (1954), of Edward Dymitrick. He obtained the Oscar by his paper of buscavidas selvático in the queen of Africa (1951), John Huston.
